The Kalbaryo ng Kawalan ng Katarungan – KKK (Calvary of the Absence of Justice) held yesterday at the Batayog ng mga Bayani Foundation.

The event was successful, and the weather couldn’t be more perfect. It was neither too hot, nor raining, people were relaxed, and all seemed to be in the mood for reflection and prayer.

In attendance were families of the disappeared, our brothers and sisters from the human rights community, advocates, and people from the media.

FIND invited speakers from different sectors such as labor, peasant, urban poor, women and the media, to connect enforced disappearance with the broader issues of the struggle for economic, social and cultural rights. Most victims of enforced disappearance come from peasant and the labor sectors.
