[Video] #WokeDtalk2024 Episode 9 | Gen Z in Action! Isang Pasasalamat | TFDP

In a culmination of advocacy and action, #WokeDtalk2024 Episode 9 marked a significant milestone in the series’ journey, celebrating the impactful endeavors of Gen Z in driving positive change. The episode, titled “Isang Pasasalamat,” served as a testament to the power of collective efforts in fostering environmental stewardship and human rights activism.

Collaborating with esteemed partners including Y4R (Youth for Rights),YOUNG BATAEÑOS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL ADVOCACY NETWORK – YOUNG BEAN, JUNIOR ALCU PHILIPPINES, ALYANSA TIGIL MINA YOUTH NETWORK and COLUMBIO MULTISECTORAL ECOLOGY MOVEMENT (CMEM), the event showcased the “Walk the Talk Certificate of Appreciation.” Timed with Earth Day festivities, this special occasion honored partner-organizations who have exemplified dedication to action and discourse.

Symbolizing the core values of passion, empathy, diligence, and intellect, each certificate represented the elements of fire, water, earth, and air respectively. Through this symbolic gesture, the recipients were acknowledged for their unwavering commitment to effecting change in their communities.

The objectives of Episode 9 were multifaceted, aiming to inspire youth, strengthen partnerships, acknowledge leaders, and amplify voices. By highlighting the impactful actions of partners, the event sought to catalyze widespread awareness and action for environmental and societal causes.

Held on April 27, 2024, at 4 pm, the episode was streamed live on the TFDP Facebook Page, inviting viewers to join in celebrating the spirit of activism and collaboration. As Gen Z continues to pave the way for a brighter, more sustainable future, the message of “walking the talk” resonates as a call to action for all.
