Statement on the approval of the 3rd reading of charter change

Charter change or federalism is not the answer to the real problems that our people are facing. It will not bring food to their tables, jobs to the unemployed, or social justice to the underprivileged. Instead it will bring even more misery, as it will institutionalize political dynasties and create more layers of government bureaucracy. What we need is better governance, not a new form of government.
