International Human Rights Day is on December 10, 2017. It celebrates the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights 69 years ago by the United Nations. The Philippines was a pioneering human rights advocate in the international community but now it paints a dire human rights situation with thousands killed in the government’s continuing war on drugs. Let’s join the global days of action to highlight the importance of defending and upholding human rights and to push for government’s compliance to its human rights obligations according to the UDHR
