Terre des Hommes (TdH) launched the “Journey to my Dreams, Child Migration in Thailand” video aimed at creating awareness of the impact of child migration in Thailand and calling on the Thailand government to guarantee children’s rights working in their country regardless of the immigration status.
Terre des Hommes International Federation http://www.terredeshommes.org is a network of ten national organizations working for the rights of children and to promote equitable development without racial, religious, political, cultural or gender-based discrimination.

which document situation of child migrants in Thailand and underscored the pressure to seek out better life conditions and opportunities lead many children from neighboring countries of Thailand i.e. Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Mekong subregion, to decide to migrate, even when aware of the risks involved in migrating unaccompanied and/or irregularly.
“We need to listen to the voices of the children and young people to determine the necessary structures, mechanisms and policies that needed to be in place to allow them to claim their right to safe and satisfactory experience, and right to a better life.” Terre des Hommes concluded.
The Terre des Hommes has produced the video with support from the Oak Foundation and as part of its Destination Unknown Campaign http://destination-unknown.org/ to protect Children on the Move.
