The Women’s Legal and Human Rights Bureau (WLB) has been pursuing policies and programs to uphold women’s rights through feminist legal advocacy and development. It has promoted alternative feminist lawyering-influencing and creating reforms in the legal systems and institutions of the country in order to pave the way for women to access justice.
Thus, the WLB welcomes applications from organizations and/or individuals to its national training on Feminist Legal Theory and Practice (FLTP) which will be held on November 4-7, 2014 in Antipolo City. The FLTP aims to develop feminist critical perspectives of the Philippine law and legal system-identifying its limitations and weaknesses and how they impact women and other marginalized groups.
For complete details of the training and application process, please email us at womenslegalbureau@yahoo.com or call 921-4389 for questions/clarifications.
DEADLINE IS 8 OCTOBER 2014.
