“I just want to say that…I am aware of what’s been happening. You know that I’m Muslim. I suffer. Everyday, I see pictures of children whose families, mothers are being killed. I feel guilty, because I have a good life here in the Philippines — having fun. But they are dying, starving.
There are some people who are afraid to talk, because others might hate them. But I’m not afraid! Because it’s not about religion. We are all human beings, we all have hearts. What’s been happening is not right. What if it happens to us? What if we are bombed and no one helps us? How will we feel? So let us speak up! What you are doing is right. I’m supposed to go somewhere but I saw what you were doing. It is time for the people to speak. You’re so great, you’re all my idols!
