BROWN RICE CAMPAIGN LUNCH AND LAUNCH AT MERCATO CENTRALE
WHAT: DAKILA – Philippine Collective for Modern Heroism and Oxfam, International will hold the Brown Rice Lunch and Launch, together with Mercato Centrale’s relaunch.
Program consists of music performances and testimonials from the brown rice advocates, simultaneous with a brown rice exhibit, free health/diet consultation, and photo booth.
WHY: The Brown Rice campaign seeks to bring brown rice back to the regular diet of the Filipinos and seeks to promote sustainable agriculture.
WHO: Brown Rice Campaign Advocates including Tado Jimenez, Roxanne Barcelo, Bayang Barrios, Tuesday Vargas, Jerico Placido, Top Junk, Stephanie Zubiri, and Ditsi Carolino; Speakers from PhilRice and Oxfam International.
WHEN: Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM
WHERE: Mercato Centrale, Fort Bonifacio, 30th street corner 9th avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
