This is to invite you to the Kamayan para sa Kalikasan forum on Friday, April 20, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. The topic will be Rio + 20. The panel will consist of vicky Segovia swho will give an overview of the preparations for the said summit that will be held in Rio de Janeiro in June, Beckie Malay who is one of those steering the civil society discussions and the main guest, Dr. Boying Bautista who is the consultant of NEDA for this purpose. Marie Marciano and Sylvia Mesina / Noemi Tirona will moderate the forum.
Twenty years after the historic United Nations Conference on Environment and Development, where is our world today? Each country is preparing its position for the Rio + 20. Your participation in the Kamayan Forum will be an opoprtunity for you hear various perspectives and to contiribute your own thoughts on the country paper which is still a work in progress.
RSVP. please, so that lunch preparations will be adequate. Kamayan Restaurant which is the generous sponsor of this forum is on EDSA, across Corinthian Gardens subdivision. On EDSA coming from Quezon City, Kamayan is on the right, soon after the Petron station and before Ortigas avenue.
