Clean and healthy environment is essential for the realization of fundamental human rights. Such as the right to life, personal integrity, family life, health and development. And aside from these concerns, there are many other links between human rights and environmental protection. Each human being should protect the environment as the resource base for all life. Because protecting the environment, is actually protecting humans.
The following photos were taken during the tree planting activity conducted by the Haribon Foundation on September 3, 2011, in the highlands of Tanay, Province of Rizal.
