Pasay court junks PAL TRO bid vs PALEA protest

MANILA, Philippines – A Pasay City court denied on Friday Philippine Airlines’ bid to stop members of the PAL Employees’ Association from staging protest actions outside the flag carrier’s In-Flight Center on MIA Road.
Judge Maria Rosario-Ragasa of Pasay City Regional Trial Court Branch 108, at Friday’s hearing, said PAL failed to justify the need to prevent the PALEA members from staging their protest.
“The burden is on PAL to justify the need for the issuance of a temporary restraining order. However, in this case PAL failed to make such justification,” she said.
