Scout Ranger commander reminds men on human rights laws | Sun.Star.
THE commander of the Army’s First Scout Ranger Regiment has reminded his officers and men assigned in Basilan to adhere and uphold human rights and the International Humanitarian Law (IHL).
The IHL is often referred to as the laws of war, the laws and customs of war or the law of armed conflict. It is the legal corpus that comprises “the Geneva Conventions and the Hague Conventions, as well as subsequent treaties, case law, and customary international law,” according to the Wikipedia.
