12th #HumanRights Pinduteros Choice Awards | Young People’s Choice

The annual event’s objective is to contribute in the promotion of human rights online and give recognition to efforts of HR pinduteros at the same time.
Human Rights Online Philippines or HRonlinePH.com started last March of 2011 and was officially launched in December 1, 2011 at Crystal Ship Café in Quezon City. The launch was highlighted by recognizing individuals and networks that contributed to the HRonlinePH.com’s initial success as an online community and resource on the country’s human rights condition through the 1st HR Pinduteros Choice Awards.
The #HumanRights Pinduteros Choice Awards
The HR Pinduteros Choice Awards is an online event that aims to give recognition to human rights defenders’ online activities (Individuals and groups) that informed, inspired and mobilized the online readers to our common cause that is to promote, defend and assert human rights utilizing the internet as a tool.
Online polling and popularization of the event also hopes to contribute in increasing awareness and build up for the international HR day celebration every December 10 through encouraging the netizens to visit and learn more about human rights issues, campaigns and etc. posted and featured in different HR sites.
Human Rights Pinduteros is a name we coined referring to HR community of internet users, HR advocates and activists (as a network) promote and defend HR and believe in HRonlinePH.com’s call to inform, inspire and mobilize our readers to our cause.
The Young People’s Choice Awards
The awarding ceremony was held in December 2, 2022 at the Cocoon Boutique Hotel, Quezon City. With the theme “Youth Speak-Up and Stand Up for Truth!”, HRonlinePh asked the youth participants of the Freedom Of Expression Conference VI and its online followers to vote for their choice for the following category:
