The focus was on shedding light on the challenges faced by marginalized communities, particularly in the aftermath of the devastating fire in Road 10, Happyland, Tondo, Manila. This blaze displaced 652 families and left 2,409 individuals homeless, underscoring the urgent need to amplify the voices of the marginalized and catalyze concrete support and initiatives for the community.
Upskills+ Foundation Inc., a newly established organization, operates primarily in Tondo, working closely with barangays near the Smokey Mountain Dump Site. Their partnership in this endeavor reflects a shared commitment to addressing the needs of vulnerable communities and fostering sustainable solutions to pressing social issues.
