New feminist collective caps off Women’s Day with a bang

WHO: DAKILA; female-led artists such Ang Bandang Shirley, Leanne & Naara, Charleen Ong, Uncle Bob’s Funky Seven Club, A II Z, Kiffy, Any Name’s Okay; Helga Crafts; Paniki Pierce; v432wellness; women’s empowerment advocates and allies

WHEN: Friday, March 8, 2024 | 6:00 PM onwards

WHERE: 123 Block, Mandala Park, Mandaluyong City

DAKILA and Funkybeat Entertainment, with the support of Oxfam Philippines, female-fronted artists, women-led enterprises, and groups advancing women’s rights commemorate International Women’s Day by launching a new feminist collective through SHE BANGS! Celebrating Women Power. The collective strengthens the calls for comprehensive, accessible and inclusive sexual and reproductive health policies in the country.

Filled with music, interactive booths, free drinks, and empowering messages, the event is open to women and allies of diverse identities such as class, SOGIESC, ability, religion, age, and educational status.
