The essence of EDSA People Power lies in the collective aspirations of individuals and groups who envisioned a nation led by honest, accountable, and principled leaders. It embodied the dream of eradicating corruption and authoritarianism from our political landscape. Despite criticisms labeling it as a failure, we maintain that EDSA People Power is a continuous process—a journey.

Change cannot be achieved overnight; it requires sustained effort and unwavering commitment. Change cannot be realized if we remain passive observers of injustices, fraud, and abuse of authority happening before our eyes. True change necessitates holding political leaders accountable for their actions and actively resisting oppression. We must not become mere echoes of the oppressors, but rather to be defenders of truth and reason.

To truly understand the essence of EDSA People Power, we must learn from our history and embrace its profound meaning. It calls upon us to stand united in the pursuit of a better future, where the ideals of justice, transparency, and accountability are upheld. Only then can we realize the transformative potential of EDSA People Power and create a nation that reflects our cherished values.
