



Calling on the public to join the commemoration of International Human Rights Day on Monday, December 10, In Defense of Human Rights and Dignity Movement (iDefend), Movement Against Tyranny (MAT), People’s Campaign Against Tyranny (PCAT), Association of Major Religious Superiors in the Philippines (AMRSP), Philippine Alliance of Human Rights Advocates (PAHRA), KARAPATAN Alliance for the Advancement of People’s Rights, RISE UP, Freedom from Debt Coalition (FDC), Laban ng Masa, Kalipunan ng mga Kilusang Masa, Alyansa Tigil Mina, Amnesty International Philippines, Kalumaran (Kusog sa Katawhang Lumad sa Mindanao), Bukluran ng Manggagawang Pilipino, and TAMASCO spoke before the media today in a demonstration of solidarity. Speaking against violence and repressive policies of the Duterte Administration, the organizations’ leaders issued a call for the public to join the United People’s March for Human Rights in Mendiola, Manila at 12 noon of December 10.
