October is Indigenous People’s Month!

Legal Rights and Natural Resources Center is organizing a launch of a policy review/critique of laws affecting indigenous peoples on OCTOBER 26 at 8:30 am. This will be at the PRRM Building along Mother Ignacia Ave, QC

At 2pm, we are also organizing a FILM SHOWING of films related to the struggle of indigenous communities.

FILM 2: Himulayanan by Erika Cruz
FILM 3: Han-ayan by JL Burgos
FILM 4: Tu Pug Imatuy by Arbi Barbarona

The Makátas will also perform a Balagtasan focusing on the rights of IPs and issues on mining.
