A project in honor of the Nameless Heroes and Martyrs Launched

namelessIn time with the commemoration of the 27th Anniversary of the EDSA people power and the signing of the Compensation Act for Victims of Martial Law, a project called “Nameless” was launched last February 20 2013, during a “Forum on the Relevance of Activism Today”, at the University of the Philippines CSSP Audio-Visual Room, Room 207.

The Forum and the launch were presented by the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy of the University of the Philippines (Diliman) in cooperation with UP PADAYON and UP SAMASA.

CSSP UP Diliman Assistant Dean Neil Santillan welcomed the participants. Ruben Felipe of the Nameless Collective talked about the Project Nameless, and their web site. Messages from Alan Jazmines and PAHRA were delivered and a video of “Ang mga walang pangalan,” produced for the launch was premiered. Poems were read. The Forum featured Teddy Rigoroso, Raffy Aquino, Bong Bongolan, and Liza Dacanay as speakers.
