A tribal leader on Boracay island has been gunned down late evening Friday, the National Anti-Poverty Commission (NAPC) said.

Twenty-six year-old Dexter Condez, a spokesperson for the Boracay Ati Tribal Organization (Bato), was shot by unidentified gunmen on the way home after attending a meeting.
