First human rights office in ARMM launched

The CHR-ARMM field office is adjacent to the main building of the executive department of the autonomous region inside the 32-hectare regional government center in the city.
Acting ARMM Governor Mujiv Hataman and CHR chairperson Loretta Anne Rosales led the inaugural rite, witnessed by representatives of different sectors and dozens of peace activists, who are involved in various peace-building activities that complement the Mindanao peace process.
Hataman said the Office of the Regional Governor (ORG), dubbed as the “little Malacañang of ARMM,” will support the operations of the CHR’s newly-established field office.
