TABANG ILIGAN!

TDC’s relief & fund drive to assist the teachers of Iligan City and Cagayan de Oro and the communities in those cities that were affected by typhoon Sendong.

Initial reports say that 210 teachers of Iligan were heavily affected by the flooding or their houses were washed out by floods, 521 experienced flooding while 750 were partially affected. As to the number of casualties, Iligan City division recorded 5 teachers died, 7 injured and 6 were still missing and 8 teachers lost their relatives.

TDC calls on all the teachers to assist their colleagues that badly need help in form of cash and goods in these bad times. The group also remind the government to provide more benefits to teachers especially those who are exposed or affected by perennial calamities.

TDC will launch the drive during the group’s Christmas gathering at Morning Breeze ES, Caloocan City, 5PM today.
