We urge the DOH to declare a public health emergency in Batangas.

In a Press Conference earlier, medical, legal practitioners, journalist, and residents from affected communities and concerned organizations gathered to discuss the reinforced call for Philippine Department of Health (DOH) to declare a public health emergency in Batangas and to investigate the health impacts of liquefied natural gas (LNG)/fossil gas plants to the residents.

This campaign was spearheaded by the Philippine Movement for Climate Justice (PMCJ) in partnership with the Asian Peoples’ Movement on Debt and Development (APMDD).
