[Photo Blog] We have RAGED!
More than a hundred advocates gathered in Quezon City Circle to commemorate the International Day of the Disappeared. Led by the Families of Victims of Involuntary Disappearance (FIND) and Asian Federation Against Involuntary Disappearance (AFAD) together with members of the Coalition Against Enforced Disappearance (CAED), the group held a Run Against Enforced Disappearance tagged as “We have RAGED!”.
The run started in front of the National Housing Authority and ended in the Bantayog ng mga Bayani.
The run was also participated in by the running priest Fr. Robert Reyes and children of desaparecidos or Samahan ng mga Anak ng Desaparecidos (SAD).
The group are pushing for the enactment of the Anti-Enforced Disappearance Law and the Philippine ratification of the International Convention for the protection of all persons from Enforced Disappearance.
After the run, the group attended the mass celebrated by Fr. Robert Reyes in Bantayog ng mga Bayani.
